The title "Creative" is as broad a descriptor as it is unique. Every creative's path is different, yet we all share a sense of kinship with our peers, knowing that we all feel a deep need to express ourselves. I've been lucky to have had many opportunities to express myself thanks to my community.
About Me
Im a political science and journalism alumnus of Sacramento State currently working on my masters in communication management at the University of Southern California. Before that I finished culinary school at American River College, learning from some of Sacramento's most prolific chefs, bakers and foodies.
Now, I work as a freelance photojournalist with organizations like CalMatters, and recently took on the role of lead arts editor with Solving Sacramento, working with other local writers and creatives to cover the wins and struggles of the local arts sector; including music, fine arts, theater, food and more. In my free time I like to make music with friends, catch up on my video game backlog, and brush up on my audio production knowledge.
