Im a political science and journalism alumnus of Sacramento State and I finished my Masters in Communication Management at the University of Southern California in 2025. Before that I finished culinary school at American River College, learning from some of Sacramento's most prolific chefs, bakers and foodies.

 

Since then, I've worked as a freelance journalist with organizations like CalMatters and Solving Sacramento. As the arts editor for Solving Sacramento, I worked with other local writers and creatives to cover the successes and struggles of the local arts sector; including music, fine arts, theater, food and more. In my free time I like to make music with friends, catch up on my video game backlog, brush up on my audio production knowledge and read sci-fi and horror books.
